Can you tell me more about the wonderful soapstone oven and fireplace? Such as is it used for cooking and heating? Am I right about it being finished in soapstone? Thanks for the wonderful catalog of Scandinavian retreats.
I´ve read the article and it says that the fireplace is made of limestone (kalkstein in Norwegian), and that it´s used for heating, and occationally for cooking.
