I really love this beautiful home from Living etc! Maybe I could get just one of photographers Paul Massey`s kitchen cabinets? At least I`ll get just as pretty floors in my cabin. I hope.
After a lot of hard work this rainy summer our kitchen is nearly done - except for two windows and some lamps. I`m (almost) looking forward to doing the dishes with this view!
This is sculptor Knut Wolds home and studio south of Hamar, Norway. The contrast between glass and timber is so nice, and he even has an indoors climbing wall! Our cabin is situated on a rocky hill, and my little brother wants to make a climbing wall outside - who wants to climb indoors anyway? I´m not even a little jealous!
On Viseno you can draw the layout of your house of and get 3D pictures of the result - with furniture! Here you can see some early sketches of our cabin, a lot has changed since then, but you can see that the kitchen looks like the rael thing!
This is the home of Katrin Arens: "Creativity, a passion for simplicity, and dedication to the reclamation and re-use of materials, combined with unusual and individual treatments and processes, make ordinary objects extraordinary”, is her motto.
