Poplar Garden House

Old classic

Love this Danish house by architect Kay Fisker found via Norwegian magazine Bonytt. It was built more than 75 years ago, and it´s filled with the most wonderful design classics. I just got the Arne Jacobsen table lamp in the last picture, as a present from my mother, for now it´s living in our hallway.

Concrete and more concrete

Can one have too much concrete? Not according to the  creators of this house, architects Wepsi de Meuron. I think the spartan looks works, you don´t need much when you got that view... The house is located on a steep slope in Sant Abbondino, Switzerland. More on the contemporist
