This is actually a prefab house designed by architects Claesson Koivisto Rune, for Swedish manifacturer Arkitekthus. The guesthouse and sauna is specifically built for this site on Muskö, Sweden. More here

Roofing, Northern Virginia way, is more like having insulators and high ceilings. For us, it's a must to have a good roof ventilation to keep our homes cooler during summer. When it comes to maintenance, roofs come with siding. Chantilly, where I grew up, is such a good place with a warm weather. Roofs are essential to every home and I'm just happy to see a different one in your blog. Thanks for sharing!
